Barabash Svitlana born in 1972, lives in Kyiv, Ukraine.
This artist's artwork reflects the aesthetic beauty & kindness of her heart.
When Russia attacked the capital of Ukraine & bombings started; she went to Western Ukraine with her family, leaving everything behind; she took her art supplies from all her possessions. They were lucky to escape in time, as they got the news that their house was destroyed in the bombing.
She wrote:
"I think that if you can't defend your home as a soldier, do what you do best; this is why I draw bright paintings that represent my love for life.
I force myself to make sketches with a brush or pastel to the sound of an air raid siren. I want to leave in my works of the post-war period a feeling of lust for life and the power of love."
When you see Svetlana's art in your house, you will know that your purchase helped an artist & may have saved a life, as most of our profit goes to the Ukrainian refugees.
